“ Our team was fortunate to have our spring meeting at the Huntington Garden and enjoyed lunch at the tea house. The ambiance and decor are lovely and the service attentive. We had the traditional tea service which consisted of assorted finger sandwiches, Madeline's, tarts, and sweet and savory scones. The tea selection is ample, but the tea pots should be a bit larger. The sandwiches are filling and delicious. Honestly, a lovely time was had by all. ”

“ Our afternoon tea date with the girls had quite a few twists and turns. We only discovered the day before our reservation that tickets for Huntington Library need to be booked separately to access the Tea Room. We had to cancel and rebook, which was a bit of a hassle. Out of all the afternoon tea spots I've been to, this one is probably the least decorated. I guess the idea is to have everyone focus on chatting or enjoying the view of the flowers outside? The portion sizes were generous, and we ended up packing most of it to go. The small bites were decent, but the tea itself wasn't anything special. The tea bags started to taste bitter after just a short steep, and we had to keep pouring it out or adding hot water to make it drinkable. Overall, it was a decent experience, but probably a one-time thing. I don't think I'll be coming back. ”

“ This tea room has been on my bucket list since I first visited the Huntington Garden so I was excited to celebrate my bachelorette here. We did the Traditional Tea and we are so glad we did because it was a lot more food than we anticipated. I appreciated the diverse menu and the option to choose gluten free. The scones were delicious and the toasted gluten free bread was incredible. The tea sandwiches were a mix, some really good and others not so great. As a table of 6, we were able to select 3 teas. We selected happy, jasmine, and rose. The happy tea is delicious and I highly recommend trying it if you attend. The atmosphere is very cute and a wonderful spot to have a girly brunch or celebration. We really enjoyed our time here. ”

“ First time visiting here and it certainly won't be my last. The ambiance is nothing short of elegance, and it was a delight to be able to sit by the window while enjoying my tea. I had an exceptional time here, and applaud the service staff for their attention to detail. Shout out to Kelan for being such an amazing and gracious server! :) As someone who doesn't need to eat much for breakfast/lunch, the amount of food that came with the Traditional Tea set was more than enough. Out of all of the savory items, I loved the Lamb the most. With the scones, the Lemon Curd was my favorite. And from the sweet items, I loved the Madeline and Fruit Tart the most. They offer options for those who have dietary restrictions, multiple milk alternatives, my tea stayed hot the entire time, and they do have honey for those who ask. Didn't feel rushed, and coming here was a great start to the day before walking around the rest of the gardens. Highly recommend making a reservation before anything. And overall- highly recommend trying this place out! ”

“ First time visitor to this tea garden after long fun day of walking the grounds Reservations highly recommended but can ask if walk in allowed as we did Friendly pleasant service from the hostess Dining available both indoor and outdoor We were seated outside right in Shakespeare garden by the fountain, best spot it would seem and wonderful weather top it Tatiana our server explained everything provided recommendations and checked up on us periodically The server assistant took our photos after delivering everything FYI there are tea made with the roses on premise! 2 types of services available traditional tea and Huntington tea ($13 difference that included glass of Prosecco mini lobster roll and additional dessert) I'm not a huge dessert person but I certainly ate them all and the finger sandwiches had their own unique taste and my pomegranate tea paired well with everything For many little portions this was plenty to consume but loved that we didn't feel rushed and we had a great space and view to enjoy it all The scones butterscotch and chive something Acke I wish was able to take more, very much separate flavors but tasty in their own ways Definitely not something I do everything but a well deserve treat and experience, absolutely! ”

“ STEPH JUDGEMENT: Renovated with a more refined, elevated feel. Came here with a girlfriend for her birthday and we had a fabulous time. This was our first time back since the remodel and we were impressed! We made reservations for 11am on a Thursday and our table was inside, in the "blue" room, which was quite lovely, with a hushed, modern elegance. When I made the reservations about a month ago the more popular outdoor tables were already booked, but we were totally happy with our indoor table, which was next to a window with a beautiful view of the herb garden. Rene, our server, was wonderful--solicitous and accommodating. We opted to go the whole hog with the Huntington Tea ($77/person as of this writing), which added a glass of bubbly, lobster roll, and a bonbon to the sandwiches (the vidalia onion ones were my faves!), scones (sweet and savory), desserts, and the tea. It was totally worth it, in our opinion! It was an amazing tea experience, and I'd totally do it again. I know some people lament the passing of the less expensive buffet tea, but I don't miss the somewhat chaotic atmosphere of the old tea room, and with so many good casual places to eat in the garden now, I appreciated the option of this more elevated place for a special occasion. ”
